What you send
When you start personalised practice, the role, experience text, job description and answers are sent to the configured AI provider to generate questions and coaching. You must agree before this starts. The free demo stays in your browser tab.
What RoleWarmup stores
For a signed-in account, unfinished drafts and completed reports are stored so you can resume and review them. Completed text reports from a paired desktop app can also be synchronized to this History. Pairing tokens for the desktop app are stored as hashes, not as plaintext tokens. Usage events are stored to enforce the daily AI limit.
Voice practice
The browser and desktop voice features use your microphone only for the active session. A browser text-practice recording is sent to RoleWarmup’s configured transcription provider to produce editable text, then is not saved as an audio recording. Desktop live voice audio is used for the active realtime connection and is not written to disk by RoleWarmup.
Your controls
You can delete completed reports, drafts, desktop pairing tokens and usage history from the signed-in History panel. The desktop pairing token expires and can be revoked by deleting saved data.
Accounts and payments
Account identity is provided by Clerk using email and password; RoleWarmup does not store a separate password database. For paid plans, the payment provider processes card or banking details. RoleWarmup stores only the provider reference, plan, status and renewal information needed to provide the service and support refunds. Full card numbers and security codes are not stored by RoleWarmup.
Service responsibility
RoleWarmup is designed to keep practice focused and private. We apply access controls, usage limits and data deletion tools to help you stay in control of your interview material.
